At Glomstad Gjestehus we have all rights, a fireplace room from the 18th century, meeting rooms, function rooms with a capacity of up to 100 guests, and accommodation capacity for 40 guests. Whether you are celebrating a wedding, 70th birthday, family reunion, arranging a meeting or a course, Glomstad Gjestehus is the right place. Since we are located at Tretten, half way to Oslo and Trondheim, in the heart of Gudbrandsdalen, means that many choose Glomstad Gjestehus.
Do you want to have the whole house to yourself?
We can arrange it so that you have the entire Glomstad Gjestehus exclusively to yourself.
In recent years, we have seen a huge increase in groups, such as friends, management groups and companies, to request the whole place to themselves. Of course, we tailor the arrangement with meals as you wish. We just need to know within a reasonable time in advance. You are welcome to contact us for more information.
Party / memorial service
We make arrangements for you to have a memorable stay with us, whether you want a simple small party, or a grand celebration. The food is home-made - and Norwegian traditional food is in focus. We can serve a 3-course gala dinner or a buffet with a variety of hot and cold dishes, as well as desserts. The choice is yours!
Course or meetings
If you are arranging a meeting or a course for smaller groups or companies, you have many opportunities at Glomstad Gjestehus. Here you get peace of mind and can mostly have the place to yourself. We provide good home-cooked food, flexibility, good service and a casual atmosphere. It provides both inspiration and creativity. We have our own meeting room with wifi and projector. We have good experience with leadership meetings, cross seminars, accordion clubs, yoga weekends, knitting weekends and more.
We can organize wine, beer or chocolate tastings on request.
Also outdoor activities, or just sitting around our popular fire pit.
